Łączenie falowodów In industrial systems, the source and microwave chamber are often separated. Waveguides are ideal for transmission of high power microwaves. The losses in waveguides are small and the joints are durable and tight.
For the construction of the waveguide lines we suggest segments of straight waveguides of various lengths and a series of angular ones.
Waveguides are joined by flanges. When the waveguide line is permanently mounted a good solution is to connect the flanges with screws. For users who often change the configurations of the waveguides MARKOM developed a way of connecting the waveguides with eccentring clamp.

STRAIGHT  WAVEGUIDES  WR340SW

WR340SW series includes straight waveguides (rigid), with a length of approx. 0,25; 0,5; 1,0 and 1,5m, compliant with the WR340 standard.
At the ends of each waveguide there are flanges, optionally: bolted or jointed by eccentric clamps (connetcion method developed by MARKOM). The flanges allow to connect the waveguides to the microwave generator, other waveguides or radiators in any settings and configurations.
Waveguides and flanges are made of powder coated aluminum.

ANGULAR  WAVEGUIDES  WR340AW

WR340AW series waveguides, allow to change the direction of microwaves in the E or H plane by 30, 45 or 90 degrees.
At the ends of each waveguide there are flanges, optionally: bolted or jointed by eccentric clamps (connetcion method developed by MARKOM). The flanges allow to connect the waveguides to the microwave generator, other waveguides or radiators in any settings and configurations.

The typical way to attach a magnetron is a launcher. This solution is most often used in industrial devices and systems, where the energy of the microwaves from the magnetron is brought directly into the working chamber.
The Launcher cooperates with most magnetrons up to 1,5kW. The flange allows to screw the launcher to the surface of the chamber with M6 screws. The open end of waveguide can be secured with a plate that protects from contamination.
